Mission statement:

The URGE brings together a multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians that aims to unravel the etiology of eating disorders and to improve the diagnosis and treatment for patients. This team is constituted of experts in the field of eating disorder research and treatment: (child & adolescent) psychiatrists, clinical and experimental/research psychologists, nutritionists, neuroscientists, epidemiologists. Its collaborative efforts are directed at translational research, with a strong focus on genetic and neurobiological background of behavioral traits associated with eating disorders and mechanisms underlying eating disorders.
